Minacs Receives New URAC Pharmacy Benefit Management Accreditations

TORONTO, May 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Aditya Birla Minacs, a global business solutions company (subsidiary of Aditya Birla Nuvo), announced today that it has been awarded: 1. Pharmacy Benefit Management, and 2. Workers Compensation and Property and Casualty Pharmacy Benefit Management accreditations from URAC, a Washington, DC-based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry.

The Pharmacy Benefit Management standards address organizational quality, customer service, communications, disclosure of pricing policies, pharmaceutical distribution, drug utilization management, and formulary/pharmacy and therapeutics committee.
