Millennium Surgical Corp. Develops Online Sterilization Resource Center

NARBERTH, Pa., May 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Millennium Surgical Corp. / surgicalinstruments.com has developed an online sterilization tray resource  to assist nurses and scrub techs who perform surgical instrument reprocessing for hospitals and ASCs.

The resource center provides detailed pictures and descriptions of a large selection of trays used to protect and sterilize surgical instruments, rigid endoscopes, and accessories including video camera heads, fiber optic light cables, diamond knives, phaco handpieces, and orthopedic devices. Autoclavable plastic trays approved for use in steam sterilization, and metal and micro instrument trays which are approved for use in Sterrad and ETO sterilizers, and Flash (immediate use) sterilization containers are also featured.

Among other resources available through the site are a downloadable poster with detailed instrument reprocessing steps, tips for TASS prevention, articles from professional agencies, and a video illustrating proper use of closed containers in immediate use (or flash) sterilization.
