CARY, N.C. and MORRISTOWN, N.J., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroMass Communications, Inc., a world leader in behavioral marketing, has been named agency of record by the North Carolina Advanced Medical Technologies Center of Innovation (NC AMTC). MicroMass will be supporting the launch of the new center and its mission of promoting the growth of North Carolina's advanced medical technologies industry.
The full-service assignment will include a broad range of activities, focusing initially on creating a new name, logo, positioning tagline and Web site for the nonprofit center, which is based in Research Triangle Park. Future activities will include the development of strategic plans for advertising, publications, trade shows, media relations, and multi-channel marketing initiatives. The account team will be led by Shelly Weitz, management supervisor.
The NC AMTC was created to accelerate the growth of North Carolina's growing medical technologies industry, which includes more than 400 medical device, diagnostics and imaging companies. Funded by a grant from the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, NC AMTC's initial services will include an entrepreneur-in-residence program and grant writing assistance, in addition to other programs and services designed to help existing North Carolina AMT companies develop and commercialize their technologies faster and more efficiently.
