Merck Serono, division de Merck (Darmstadt, Allemagne), annonce aujourd'hui que l'entreprise a atteint la huitième place du classement Access To Medicine Index (ATM) publié aujourd'hui par l'Access to Medicine Foundation. Les activités de Merck en faveur de l'accès aux médicaments sont menées par sa division pharmaceutique, Merck Serono, et font partie intégrante de la stratégie de responsabilité sociale de l'entreprise. Merck Serono a progressé de neuf places par rapport au précédent classement publié en 2010. Tous les deux ans l'indice ATM compare vingt sociétés pharmaceutiques sur leurs activités et initiatives en faveur de l'accès aux médicaments dans les pays à revenu faible et moyen.
