Medical Guardian Announces Social Media Partnership with Senior Citizen Charity

PHILADELPHIA, May 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Guardian, a leading provider of personal medical alert systems to senior citizens, announced today the launch of its new cause marketing campaign designed to better engage social media users on the Medical Guardian Facebook page while benefiting seniors around the nation.

If 1,000 people "like" the Medical Guardian Facebook page by June 1, 2012, Medical Guardian will donate $500 to Dreams for Seniors, a volunteer organization dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of senior citizens.  This non-profit organization allows seniors to request a dream, such as a vacation to see their grandchildren, a computer, or simply having their house cleaned. Dreams for Seniors brings together the resources and the manpower to make those dreams comes true.

"As Medical Guardian continues to grow, our goal is to help grow opportunities for seniors to live fulfilling and independent lives, and to help support their families," says Geoff Gross, president. "We are confident that through the social channels we will be able to get feedback from our clients and continue to offer solutions that best fit their needs to help seniors overall."

On May 1st, 2012, Medical Guardian will launch its "Like Us on Facebook" Sweepstakes where visitors are encouraged to "like" Medical Guardian's Facebook page to be entered into a drawing to win four tickets to a Major League Baseball game in their home town.  The winner will be announced June 5th on the Medical Guardian Facebook page.
