exhibits. These 30-minute presentations run from 11:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. daily and cover a wide range of technologies. Among topics being presented this year are: Robotics, hyrdrogels, android tablets and phones within the medtech industry, and 2D barcoding.

One of this year's Innovations Briefs highlights is Thursday's "Understanding Quality Gaps to Target Medical Device Innovation" (April 26, 2012 at 12:30pm). Given by Conference Keynote Speaker Nora Illuri, CEO of Clarimed, this presentation discusses how to use data about medical device performance to identify market gaps and find opportunities for innovation. She will also introduce Clarimed's brand new web tool "DeviceMatters," the industry's only site that provides ground-breaking, detailed reports of industry-related adverse events. Developed by Clarimed for Qmed.com , DeviceMatters is exclusive information available only to Qmed users, providing reports for any device category or manufacturer.

Co-Located Events
BIOMEDevice Boston Expo admission also includes unlimited access to two additional co-located events, Design & Manufacturing New England and Electronics New England. Both events feature hundreds of additional suppliers, all available under the same roof.
