Medical Alarm Concepts Investor Update - Several Initiatives in Place Designed to Significantly Accelerate Growth

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., Sept. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (OTCQB:MDHI), manufacturer of the MediPendant™, the first fully-monitored medical alarm system that allows the users to speak and listen directly through the pendant, today provides investors with an update on recent corporate activities. The following comments are from Medical Alarm Concepts Holdings, Inc., CEO, Howard Teicher.

"Over the past several months we have been relatively quiet regarding our corporate activities, although we have submitted our required filings with the Securities & Exchange Commission in order to remain a full reporting entity.  Today, I am very pleased to inform you that we are finally seeing a significant amount of traction with the MediPendant™ in the marketplace.  We have always believed our unique and patent protected MediPendant™ personal medical alarm product, with its speak and listen through the pendent technology, holds the promise to revolutionize the personal medical alarm space.  Our marketing tests of several months ago proved some of our theories correct as we achieved strong results from our advertising spend.  Of course, it takes more than just a great product and strong test marketing results to make a profitable company - it also takes adequate capitalization and strong partnerships to move the programs forward.  I am very excited today to inform our investors that these additional pieces of our corporate puzzle are being put into place."

Mr. Teicher continued, "We are currently putting the final touches on several initiatives to significantly accelerate our growth. These include a new injection of capital into the Company, a restructuring of our balance sheet, a new strategic alliance with a significant player in the world of marketing and advertising, investment in a new generation of product, acquisition of enough inventory for us to reach profitability, and several other initiatives that will help us to meaningfully accelerate our corporate growth.  Over the coming weeks we plan to reveal to our investors the details of these programs and continue to gain their support."
