Media Sourcery's Secure Mobile Workflow App Deployed by CCS Medical to Expedite Product Delivery to Patients
Date:10/24/2013

HOUSTON, Oct. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CCS Medical (a.k.a. DEGC Enterprises [U.S.], Inc.), a leading provider of home delivery medical equipment and supplies and winner in Medicare's National Competitive Bidding Program, is also the leading supplier of insulin pumps with a best-in-market panel of manufacturers. The company has deployed leading-edge secure mobile technology from Media Sourcery, Inc. to meet increased demand and continue to get needed products in the hands of their patients as fast as possible.

"Our Accelerated Pipeline solution shows our team in the field and in our call center real-time status of orders and shipments," says Linda Langiotti, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Diabetes Division. "This enables us to quickly see any issue that may be slowing down patient orders in the pipeline and react to them, ensuring that our customer's order gets to them in the shortest time possible."

CCS Medical's Insulin Pump field team is equipped with iPads, giving them anytime access to the Accelerated Pipeline app based on Media Sourcery's Secure Workflow solution. The field sees when any issues arise, such as when additional documentation is needed, and can see when products are scheduled to ship, allowing them to coordinate with the patient and manufacturers to streamline training and usage.

"We've used Media Sourcery solutions in several areas of our company, not only because they protect our patient's confidential information but they also integrate with our patient information systems, giving us true end-to-end audit and protection while enabling mobile interactions," said Bob Hansen, Senior Vice President, Information Technology at CCS Medical. "These leading-edge solutions on mobile devices for our field are complemented by batch solutions used to speed incoming referrals, securely automating actions such as insurance eligibility checking and input directly into our systems."

As a winner in Medicare's National Competitive Bidding Program for mail order diabetic testing supplies, effective July 1, CCS Medical will be one of only 18 Medicare mail order suppliers providing diabetic testing supplies nationwide.

"CCS has been deploying state-of-the-art technology not only in anticipation of increased volumes but to continue getting patients what they need as quick as possible," said Larry Ketchersid, CEO of Media Sourcery. "Our solutions and patented technology allow them to gather and utilize patient information wherever they need it, protecting the data and auditing the usage without getting in the way. "
