Sen. Adam Kline, D-Seattle, urged state officials to move quickly on developing the system, and Medbox stands ready to offer the assistance requested to ensure a smooth and thoughtful implementation of the new laws.
Medbox has sought the help of a renowned Seattle based law firm to oversee any and all consulting client matters pertaining to licensing, zoning, and related lobbying in Washington State. As the first order of business, the law firm will be making sure that a request for "Expert" designation is hand-delivered to the office Rick Garza, deputy director of the Liquor Control Board, no later than this Friday.
Medbox played a key role during the Arizona dispensary lottery system and helped its consulting clients obtain 20 of the 97 total licenses granted by the Arizona Department of Health Services, while providing the most secure, transparent, and legally compliant method of operation to the state. The company plans to similarly offer its services in every new state that is in need of tracking and compliance of sensitive drugs like marijuana.
