MedWOW Adds Parts Finder Service and Enhances Business Model
Date:11/1/2010

NICOSIA, Cyprus, Nov. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- MedWOW.com, the global online marketplace for medical equipment, is pleased to publicize the addition of its newest user-oriented tool: a Medical Equipment Parts Finder service. As it is often a difficult and costly process to look for replacement parts for medical equipment and devices, MedWOW's R&D staff developed this feature to streamline the search for buyers unable to find the parts they need through MedWOW's standard parts and accessories search. This free service includes providing, within 48 hours, several quotes from international sellers of the requested part, so medical equipment decision-makers can leverage their options and assess which is the best value for their facility's needs.

The Parts Finder form requests buyers to fill out the online form in as much detail as possible, including fields for: category, device, manufacturer, model, parts detail, version, destination and other factors.

To further improve the MedWOW buyer and seller experience, a decision was made to charge only the sellers of medical equipment a transaction fee, and only after deals are successfully completed. The buyer's fee has been entirely eliminated, so the buyer does not have to pay a fee when purchasing both new and used medical equipment through the MedWOW platform. In addition, buyers automatically receive competitive quotes from sellers selling the same item they have expressed interest in. Sellers now receive the buyer's contact information immediately, and are also provided the opportunity to purchase leads of buyers looking to acquire equipment they have for sale, supplying them with more quality prospects.

"We have once again upgraded our business model based on feedback from our thousands of registered users," commented Mark Green, MedWOW's Marketing Director. "We understand that both time and money are precious commodities and our aim is to make the medical equipment and parts trade process as easy and cost-effective as possible. Each service we add reflects this important philosophy and the new business model was developed to further the stated mission of our company, which is to provide our customers with: professional service, multilingual support, unprecedented reliability and top value."
