MedVet Opens Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Hospital in Mountain View
Date:5/21/2020

MedVet, a leader in emergency and specialty veterinary healthcare, is set to open an emergency and critical care veterinary hospital located at 601 Showers Dr., Mountain View, CA in June 2020. MedVet Mountain View joins existing MedVet hospitals in Campbell and Silicon Valley to further expand access for pet care in the Silicon Valley and broader Santa Clara County areas. Concurrent to opening MedVet Mountain View, MedVet San Jose will permanently transition emergency and critical care veterinary services to MedVet Campbell, located at 905 Dell Ave., Campbell, CA 95008.

“Santa Clara County has been an incredibly supportive community and we’re excited to be expanding our services under the leadership of Monica Clare, VMD, Diplomate, ACVECC and Robyn Baillif, RVT, VTS (ECC),” said Dr. Linda Lehmkuhl, Chief Executive Officer of MedVet. “MedVet Mountain View will provide an important step towards greater access to specialty and emergency care for the community. We look forward to continued and new partnerships with local community veterinarians as we support their patients’ and clients’ emergency care needs.”

“MedVet Mountain View will be open weeknights, weekends, and holidays as an extension of our local community veterinarians if they are unavailable. We are excited to offer state-of-the-art emergency medicine and critical care to cats and dogs,” said Dr. Monica Clare, Medical Director of MedVet Mountain View.

For pets that require specialty care, MedVet Mountain View will collaborate with MedVet Silicon Valley with services in cardiology, internal medicine, medical oncology, neurology & neurosurgery, and surgery and MedVet Campbell, offering emergency medicine, critical care, and cardiology specialty services. All three MedVet locations will work together to coordinate care based on the individual needs of the pets and families they serve.

MedVet Mountain View is located at 601 Showers Dr., Mountain View, CA 94040, and can be reached by phone at 408.578.5622, fax 650.494.0753, and email info.mountainview@medvet.com.
