MedScope Nominated by RacoWireless for Prestigious 2015 Connected World Magazine Connected World Award

WYNNEWOOD, Pa., Jan. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- MedScope (, the leading provider of medical alert systems, has been nominated for a 2015 Connected World magazine Connected World Award for its new mobile Personal Emergency Response System (mPERS), that can be used anywhere, anytime. The nomination was made by RacoWireless, its M2M technology partner.

In nominating MedScope, Landon Garner, Director of Marketing of RacoWireless said, "MedScope's use of the IoT/M2M/connected-device technology has significantly expanded the scope and quality of its emergency response business. MedScope launched home healthcare monitoring nationwide beginning with their landline product and has been evolving into their cellular terminal and mobile alert device. With the use of connected devices, MedScope enables its healthcare providers to monitor the well-being of their patients, provide immediate response in the event of an emergency and decrease hospital readmissions and unnecessary hospitalizations due to accidents and falls. In fact, since its introduction almost a year ago, use of MedScope's mPERS have surged over 35%."
