Meaningful Use Certification Awarded to Press Ganey's Quality Performer(SM)

SOUTH BEND, Ind., Aug. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Press Ganey's Quality Performer - Hospital eMeasures attained electronic health record (EHR) clinical quality measures module certification on July 27, 2011. The Hospital eMeasures functionality within Quality Performer – a comprehensive clinical quality measurement and reporting solution that supports hospitals' regulatory compliance and quality monitoring needs – will allow clients to gather, calculate, validate and submit clinical quality measures electronically.

With the availability of the Hospital eMeasures module, Quality Performer offers hospitals the ability to successfully meet the clinical quality eMeasures component of the Meaningful Use criteria in addition to the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program, The Joint Commission's inpatient and outpatient measures, the American Heart Association's Get with the Guidelines® - Stroke measures, and various state reporting programs.

Quality Performer is designed to support hospitals' regulatory compliance and quality monitoring demands, coupling data collection functionality with a variety of reporting and basic analytical tools. In addition, the solution provides educational support services that help hospitals better understand their performance and more precisely identify opportunities for improvement.

The Quality Performer - Hospital eMeasures v1 EHR Module is 2011/2012 compliant and has been certified by the Drummond Group Inc., an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable certification
