McAllister Software Systems, Inc. and IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. Announce Availability of the IDEXX VetLab(R) Station InterLink(TM) Connection to AVImark(R) 2010
Date:2/12/2010

PIEDMONT, Mo., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- McAllister Software Systems, Inc. today announced full integration between AVImark veterinary software and the IDEXX VetLab® Station. Powered by IDEXX InterLink™ technology, the two-way connection allows diagnostic test requisitions and patient data to be sent automatically to the IDEXX VetLab Station from any AVImark workstation in a veterinary practice. Test results are automatically sent back to the patient's medical record in AVImark and test charges are automatically added to the patient's invoice. Once completed, test results are immediately visible on the AVImark client information display (CID). Test results can also be sent automatically to a separate storage location, if preferred by the veterinarian.

"IDEXX InterLink technology automatically communicates information back and forth between AVImark veterinary software and the IDEXX VetLab Station," said Donnie Meyer, senior director of business development for McAllister Software Systems.  "This is the kind of productivity and patient care that results from our focus on the success of our customers and the long-standing relationship between McAllister Software Systems and IDEXX."

"The IDEXX InterLink connection between AVImark and the IDEXX VetLab Station enables advanced practice integration and significant customer benefits," added Kevin Roughton, VetLab marketing manager. "Staff can order in-clinic laboratory diagnostics from anywhere in the practice, secure in the knowledge that when the patient invoice is posted, all test charges have been automatically captured. Most important, complete test results are immediately accessible from any AVImark workstation in the practice for faster, more-informed diagnoses."
