Markteinführung neuer Assays für Magen-Darm Infektionen in Europa

BALTIMORE und LÜTTICH, Belgien, 18. April 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- BD Diagnostics, ein Segment des weltweit tätigen Medizintechnikunternehmens BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) und Diagenode SA, ein internationales Biotech-Unternehmen mit Sitz in Belgien, gaben heute bekannt, dass ab sofort das CE-zertifizierte Diagenode „Enteric Viral Panel primers and probes kit" verfügbar ist. Das Kit wird zusammen mit dem BD MAX(TM) RNA Extraktions-Kit RNA-3 und den BD MAX (TM) PCR Cartridges verwendet. Darüber hinaus wurde das CE-zertifizierte BD MAX(TM) „Enteric Bacterial Panel" für das BD MAX(TM) System angekündigt.

Das „Enteric Viral Panel primers and probes kit" von Diagenode ist ein automatisierter in vitro Diagnostik (IVD) Test. für den qualitativen Nachweis von unterschiedlichen Noro- (Genogruppen I und II) und Rota-Viren in Stuhlproben. Das „Enteric Bacterial Panel" ist ein qualitativer IVD-Test, der DNA von Campylobacter spp. (jejuni und coli), Salmonella spp., Shigellose (Shigella spp./Enteroinvasive E. coli [EIEC]) sowie von Shiga-Toxinen Typ 1a und 2a in Stuhlproben erkennt.
