MPO Symposium Offers Medical Device Manufacturers the Opportunity to Tour Plants in Costa Rica

RAMSEY, N.J., March 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of a two-day education and networking event, MPO Symposium provides medical device manufacturers rare access to local facilities in and around San Jose, Costa Rica, following a morning of conference sessions on May 11. As part of your conference registration, you will have the option to choose a plant tour to attend. Buses will depart outside the conference venue, the Costa Rica Marriott in San Jose.

The MPO Symposium conference series is the only true industry resource for face-to-face learning, networking and business improvement focused on the unique relationship between medical device manufacturers and their varied supplier partners. This conference was successfully held in San Jose in 2009 and returns this year offering increased ROI for attendees.

In addition to the plant tours, conference organizers have arranged for a unique program of one-on-one meetings with representatives from local manufacturers including Hospira, Hologic and Allergan from 1-4 p.m. on May 10. Following the one-on-one meetings, all conference delegates are invited to a pre-conference welcome reception. Conference sessions begin the following morning, with the keynote presentation by Costa Rica's Minister of Foreign Trade, Anabel Gonzalez. The morning continues with leading consultants, medical product manufacturers and suppliers, creating intimate interactive sessions.
