Date:6/1/2011

WINCHESTER, Mass., June 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --  With Sales headed up by Stephan Odders, former V.P. Sales of Douglas-Hanson Company, the MPI Release team is shining with new liner products for novel applications, quick response times, and 4-6 week deliveries, all backed by almost flawless quality performance and promises.

Cutting Edge Technologies

New Products in the release liner field is a by-product of competent Chemists and Technicians, coupled with selecting and formulating the best existing chemistries for the job.  The available chemistry is dependent on cutting edge curing capabilities.  MPI Release, with its new Polytype 87" Wide Thermal Coater, its Ultra Violet [UV] curing Lines and Electron Beam capabilities up to 82" wide, covers the gamut of curing systems that are available for sourcing release chemicals from around the world.  MPI engineers and develops controlled or differential release coatings for its growing list of top tier pressure-sensitive adhesive customers and applies these on 1 or 2-sides of film and paper substrates in one pass. MPI is capable of producing any required level of silicone release that is required.

Ed Alois, President of MPI, states that "Our company's ongoing goal is to build on its reputation as a hands-on supplier, with personalized responsiveness to customers of any size, quick turn-around of sample Requests and Quotations and On-time Shipments of consistent quality. The Company stands second to none in their ability to formulate New Products within a prompt or tight time frame, working in close, creative-collaboration with their customers."

Two Streamlined Manufacturing Plants:

The acquisition of the plant in Greenfield, Indiana in 2009 doubled MPI's capacity. The new coater at the Indiana Plant delivers a very vital new curing capability to the Company's state-of the-art equipment line-up also located in MPI's Winchester, MA, facility. The acquisition not only greatly expanded MPI's product offerings but also provides the security and convenience of a second climate-controlled facility.
