(NYSE MKT: MGT) announced today that the Company has signed a definitive agreement with a major Asian conglomerate to sell its portfolio of medical imaging patents. The monetization of these patents completes MGT's transition to a company focused on internet and mobile gaming.
Robert Traversa , Chief Financial Officer, stated, "We expect the proceeds of roughly $1.5 million to be deployed in the skill-based gaming space, where we see tremendous opportunity. Our board of directors is also considering other avenues to enhance shareholder value."
