Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital Announces New President and CEO

Dr. Scaduto is a talented and distinguished pediatric orthopaedic surgeon whose intellect and leadership skills will enable the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital to continue its great tradition of providing high quality care to children and its important role in stimulating orthopaedic research and education."

In accepting the position, Dr. Scaduto stated, "Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital is a real asset to the community. It is an honor to lead this institution and continue to focus on quality care and genuine attention to patients and their families. I look forward to this opportunity and I consider it a rare privilege to carry on the work led so ably for decades by Dr. Luck."

Dr. Scaduto received his undergraduate and medical degrees at UCLA, where he conducted his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery, receiving the UCLA Orthopaedic Surgery Best Resident Research Award. He completed his Postdoctoral Orthopaedic Research Fellowship at UCLA, and held a Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedics and Spinal Deformity Surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

The Search Committee will remain active during this interim appointment and it is anticipated that a permanent appointment will be made within the next 6-8 months.
