Link Between Cancer and Obesity Argues for More Aggressive Treatments, says Dr. Feiz & Associates

The study shows that obesity causes the microbes to secrete an acid that appears to harm DNA and thereby increases the likelihood of tumors. Dr. Hara's study focused on a number of genetically modified mice who were exposed to carcinogenic substances similar to the pollutants that often affect humans. The mice included a number of animals who had been made obese with a high fat diet, and a number of slimmer rodents. After a period of several months, only 5 percent of the more lean mice had developed cancer, but 100 percent of the obese mice had become afflicted. The diseased mice were found to have a significantly higher amount of a DNA damaging secretion, deoxycholic acid, in their blood.
