Lifetime Products Enters New Product Category: Health and Wellness
Date:9/1/2011

CLEARFIELD, Utah, Sept. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lifetime Products, Inc. -- a worldwide Utah-based manufacturer of folding tables and chairs, sporting goods equipment, outdoor storage sheds, and lawn and garden products -- announced today that it is expanding its product depth and adding a new Health and Wellness product category.

Initially, the new Lifetime Health and Wellness category will feature products like the award-winning Lifetime Tru-Motion™ Walking Cane already on the market, and a new full line of home safety accessories including bath and towel safety grab bars.

"Lifetime has the branding strength, commitment to innovation, and manufacturing capabilities that make us a perfect fit to design products that help the aging population stay in their homes comfortably, safely, and with dignity," said Lifetime President Richard Hendrickson. "Nowadays, seniors want to be able to live at home as long as possible instead of in a nursing home or assisted living facility. Our new products help give them the security and independence they need to do that."

Lifetime's new line of Health and Wellness products are built for safety, but are designed with an attractive, decorative look. The trendy appearance camouflages that they are safety accessories and actually complements a home rather than looking like medical equipment.

Lifetime acquired the assets of LiveWell Home Safety Solutions, LLC earlier this year. The acquisition of the Ohio-based designer of home safety accessories also included a patent application and all registered trademarks.

"We will be continuing with LiveWell's current product offerings, as well as adding many complementary products," said Hendrickson. "We look forward to bringing further innovation in both product design and distribution like with our other well-known Lifetime products so they will easily be available through mainstream consumer retailers."

Look for a full line of Health and Wellness products to be available under both the LiveWell and Lifetime brands in early 2012 at home improvement stores nationwide and online at www.lifetime.com.

Established in 1985, Lifetime Products, Inc. is a privately-held company headquartered in Clearfield, Utah. With products sold in 58 countries, Lifetime is the world's leading manufacturer of polyethylene folding tables, chairs, and residential basketball hoops. With other offerings from outdoor sheds and carts to kayaks and soccer goals, Lifetime continues to develop innovative products For the Way You Live™.
