Let’s Talk Interactive Launches COVID-19 Telehealth Response Platform

Let’s Talk Interactive, Inc., a leading provider of customizable telehealth solutions including a sophisticated HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform, today announces the firm’s new COVID-19 Telehealth Response Platform as it continues to stay at the forefront of providing measures nationwide to ensure adequate control of the coronavirus.

The firm’s telemedicine solutions include the ability to push live bio-analytics, call triage, complete e-documents, medical care on-demand as well as a SecureVideo platform, which has proven effectiveness in supporting health systems during a prior Ebola outbreak. With the infiltration of COVID-19 throughout the U.S. and the subsequent rapid daily changes to societal operations, response scalability is of utmost importance to manage a public health crisis.

In response to COVID-19, Let’s Talk Interactive’s SecureVideo platform will manage high volumes of patients requiring screening, isolated in home environments, and in need of remote medical care. Using the Virtual Clinic features, organizations can create queues for different patient groups, such as patients requesting screening and patients that have tested positive and require monitoring. Queues can also be created for different categories of providers, such as screeners, nurses, and physicians. Patients can request consults on-demand with the different provider groups, or consultations can be scheduled as needed.

“High-volume patient management in isolated environments paired with remote medical care are optimized throughout our telehealth platform,” explained Art Cooksey, Founder and CEO of Let’s Talk Interactive. “This is essential in helping prevent the spread of the virus - especially among healthcare providers who are needed on the front lines.”

Key components of the platform include:

  • Screening and advice from a queue of logged-in nurses
  • Triage for physicians, translators and other professionals to be added to consultations on-demand
  • Home monitoring for patients in isolation in home environments; they can use their own devices (computers, phones, tablets)
  • Provider communication through secure chat features
  • Customized system to the unique requirements of each organization
  • Data management capabilities enable providers to export patient data and analytics; e-documents allow for creating patient forms
  • 24-7 U.S.-based technical support

Let’s Talk Interactive has been on the front lines of emergency health services since 2001. Most recently, the Telehealth Portals were made available to students within Florida’s Panhandle, a region that is still devastated following 2018’s Hurricane Michael and those impacted are some of the youngest in the state. As a result, 126 custom Telehealth Kiosks and iPad Portals were installed by the start of the school year within a record 42 day turnaround time. The effort, made available via insurance, Medicaid and Medicare and grants available through Big Bend Community Based Care (BBCBC), enables providers to offer counseling services through the Let’s Talk Interactive online platform. Students within these six Florida counties are able to access psychiatric care through the Telehealth Portals during the school day.

“We are an experienced team, able to move mountains with our partners here in the U.S. to quickly adapt to any crisis that creates the need for remote support from medical professionals. We will continue to do our part by utilizing our technology to help combat the potential devastation of the COVID-19 outbreak,” remarked Cooksey.
