LasikPlus® Launches "How Eye See the World" Photography Contest

CINCINNATI, Sept. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LasikPlus®, a leading provider of laser vision correction, is searching for images about how their services have changed or could potentially change the way people view favorite aspects of their lives as a result of LASIK surgery. The company is kicking off a contest on its Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/LasikPlus) to capture and share photographs beginning September 6, 2011. Participants are encouraged to upload their photos for a chance to win a free laser vision correction treatment for themselves or to give away, as well as valuable prizes.

The judging panel at LasikPlus is relying on the general public to help identify the best images. Fans of LasikPlus' Facebook page are encouraged to view and vote for their favorite submission. At the end of the contest all entries will be judged by a jury from LasikPlus, which will ultimately make the final selection of the winners.  Photos will be judged on adherence to LasikPlus' photography brand standards, originality, creativity and appropriateness to theme, quality of photograph and total number of votes received from the general public.

Three lucky winners will win a voucher for free laser vision correction from LasikPlus and one of the following prizes:

Grand Prize Winner

  • 4 day National Geographic Photography Workshop in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C.
  • Plus winning photo will be featured in upcoming LasikPlus advertising campaign

1st Place Winner

  • $1,000 gift card to B&H Photo
