LOUIS and MORRISVILLE, N.C., Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LDM Group, LLC (LDM), a leading provider of behavior based health management programs, announced at the NACDS Pharmacy & Technology Conference last week that it has reached a significant partnership agreement with Polyglot Systems, Inc. (PGSI), a market leader in providing limited-English proficient (LEP) patients consumer medication information.
Under the partnership, LDM will provide PGSI's consumer medication information through its successful CarePoints® and ScriptGuide® information for your health® messaging system at the point-of-care.
PGSI's award-winning Meducation® content will be available in several languages and includes easy to understand graphics and educational information enabling the patient to understand what their medication is for and how to take it correctly.
This partnership will allow for the production of Meducation content to be integrated into the healthcare professional's workflow. By integrating Meducation into the LDM platforms, patients can be presented with medication information they can understand, seamlessly in the healthcare professional's workflow.
With Meducation, patients and healthcare providers will be provided access to medication instructions that are written at a 5th to 6th grade reading level in any of over twelve languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Korean, Haitian Creole, Italian, French, Arabic, Russian, Bengali, and Polish and others.
