Kidz-Med VeraTemp Expected in Pharmacies throughout Canada by Fall 2011

WESTON, Fla., Feb. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- American Scientific Resources, Inc. ("American Scientific Resources") (OTCQB: ASFX) announces signing Associated National Brokerage, Inc. ("ANB Canada") to distribute Kidz-Med VeraTemp non-contact thermometers in Canada. ANB Canada will leverage their presence in the Canadian drug chain market to place the Kidz-Med VeraTemp in pharmacies throughout Canada by Fall 2011. American Scientific Resources is ISO-13485 certified and now registered under the Canadian Medical Devices Conformity Assessment Scheme (CMDCAS).

Marc Massoglia, Senior VP Sales, American Scientific Resources notes, "ANB Canada is recognized as a leader in retail pharmacy distribution in Canada. We are delighted to have national coverage from a progressive and innovative group; translations have begun for the packaging and instructions. ANB is expected to start taking delivery of the Kidz-Med VeraTemp in June for on-shelf placement starting in August. We expect to be in the Canadian pharmacies by October or so." ANB Canada has agreed to purchase at least 20,000 units over the next twelve months. "This is an important step in our partnership as this initial order will be a building block for future years of orders and is expected to open the doors for the introduction of new products," said Massoglia.
