Keck Medicine of USC performs world's 1st implant after FDA approval for groundbreaking epilepsy treatment
Date:12/19/2013

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Dec. 18, Keck Medicine of USC became the world's first medical center to implant a responsive brain device newly approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat epilepsy, with potential to help millions of people worldwide.

"Every individual's epilepsy is different. Unlike other neurostimulators on the market, this system looks for just the right circumstances to s
