Jardogs' FollowMyHealth™ Universal Health Record Receives ONC-ATCB Certification

SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Feb. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Jardogs announced that its Universal Health Record (UHR) FollowMyHealth™ v1.0 is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as an EHR Module on January 27th, 2011 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

FollowMyHealth™ combines the global connectivity and patient management aspects of a personal health record with the integration of a patient portal to create the only true Universal Health Record.

"Our FollowMyHealth™ solution provides community-level connectivity for patients and providers in a truly meaningful way," said Jim Hewitt, CEO of Jardogs.  "We believe this certification, our use of the Microsoft Windows Azure platform, and the capabilities of our Universal Health Record have created the new standard for patient access solutions."

"With the Windows Azure platform, Jardogs will provide customers with real-time access to secure health information at a national level."

"Jardogs has created a secure national infrastructure that allows aggregation of patient data from multiple systems across organizations, communities, and the country, seamlessly communicating that data discretely to healthcare providers via the patients' consent," says Hewitt.

The certification number for the FollowMyHealth™ Universal Health Record, Version 1.0, is CC-1112-395030-1.
