The summit, titled "Driving New Insight for Line-of-Business Decisions," features the latest business thinkers, corporate leaders, and cutting-edge practices designed to provide insights into the improved visibility of business intelligence and analytics. Dr. Haimowitz will be participating in a panel entitled "Creating an Effective Partnership Between IT and Business." He will bring to the panel his unique perspective on the use of technology in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
For over 20 years, Dr. Haimowitz has provided healthcare clients with innovative solutions for relationship marketing, segmentation, operations, measurement, and optimization. He has also enabled clients to evaluate the return on investment of their multichannel consumer and professional advertising campaigns.
Prior to joining The CementBloc, Dr. Haimowitz was Vice President, Group Director of Insights and Optimization at Wunderman, leading a team deploying analytics across healthcare, financial services, and consumer packaged goods. He has also spent 9 years on the manufacturer side as a director and team leader for pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and Organon.
Dr. Haimowitz received his PhD in computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1994, and his MPhil from Cambridge University in computer speech and language processing. He has spoken and published extensively, and has also served for 7 years on the board of the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association, including a term as President in 2006.
