BEDFORD, Mass., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Instrumentation Laboratory (IL), today, announced it has installed its 2000th ACL TOP Hemostasis Testing System. The recipient was Addenbrooke's Hospital, based in Cambridge, England. The analyzer, an ACL TOP CTS, is one of four identical analyzers installed in their hemostasis laboratory.
Addenbrooke's Hospital is part of the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest and most prestigious hospital groups in the United Kingdom. A teaching hospital, Addenbrooke's is associated with University of Cambridge, School of Clinical Medicine and is a leading center for biomedical research and education worldwide. IL introduced the ACL TOP base model in 2004 and since then, a number of other models have been introduced, including: ACL TOP CTS in 2006, ACL TOP 500 CTS in 2008 and the ACL TOP 700 LAS in 2008.
