Impact of Geographic Location on Weight Loss Considered by Makers of Hydroxycut
Date:2/26/2013

NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The makers of Hydroxycut know that there is more to weight loss than simply having the will to visit the gym and stick to a diet. A recent article published by Huffington Post explains that the geographic location in which an individual lives can actually impact the resources they have at their disposal in terms of their weight loss efforts. Here, the makers of Hydroxycut recount the interesting information that has been revealed through the ranking of top US cities for losing weight.

According to the article, San Francisco, California; Fairfield County, Connecticut; Long Island, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; Lake County and Kenosha County, Illinois; New York, New York; Middlesex County, Massachusetts; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Peabody, Massachusetts; and Seattle, Washington, are the top 10 large metropolitan areas for weight loss in the United States. The rankings are based on five different criteria: access to healthier foods; ability to walk or bike to work; number of gyms, health clubs, and fitness facilities; outdoor sports opportunities; and weight loss centers. In determining the previously listed rankings, all five criteria were considered in equal measure.

The makers of Hydroxycut find this information to be exceedingly interesting and encourage individuals who are looking to lose weight to consider how their local resources can assist them in doing so: "This is a really unique look at the support that individuals have across America in terms of accessing the resources they need to build a more active, healthy lifestyle. We encourage individuals who are living in the appointed top 10 metro areas to really take advantage of the great lifestyle options that are open to them. On the other hand, we hope that individuals who are living in cities that didn't make the list will look at why and help to develop the support systems that are necessary to assist residents in building lifestyles that facilitate a higher degree of overall wellbeing."

With this information regarding weight loss resources, individuals can better call upon the gyms, and alternative sources of exercise that are available to them. The makers of Hydroxycut hope that this information sheds light on not only the incredible work done by these top 10 metro areas, but also on the array of support that individuals living across the country can use to achieve their weight loss goals.
