Hearst Business Media Names Dr. Charles Tuchinda Chief Innovation Officer, Healthcare

He was founder and general manager of Tuchinda Industries, LLC, a software development company that was responsible for a new radiology information system, an online medical education system, and a meta-analysis research tool. Additionally, Tuchinda served as co-investigator in the clinical research arm of Cardiac Auscultatory Recording Database, from 1997-2004, where he invented an innovative database delivering heartsound recordings online from patients. Tuchinda's experience also includes positions as an associate at Flagship Ventures, where he specialized in early stage investments in health information technology, and an associate at Millennium Pharmaceuticals in the business development, in-licensing group.

Tuchinda holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, board certification in internal medicine, an M.D. from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a bachelor's from Harvard University.
