Healthcare Professionals Tout Ubiquinol Form of CoQ10 as a Safe and Natural Antioxidant Ingredient
Date:2/26/2013

PASADENA, Texas, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In a recent discussion within the nutrition and healthcare community last week regarding the use of antioxidant supplements, leading healthcare professionals including Dr. Mehmet Oz , Holly Lucille, N.D., Bryce Wylde, N.D., and Tasmeen Bhatia, M.D., touted Ubiquinol, a natural converted form of CoQ10, as the antioxidant that is safe to consume in pill form.  The topic was discussed on the Dr. Oz Show, which aired on February 22nd, addressing the myths and truths surrounding the use of antioxidant supplements.

The program featured Ubiquinol as the supplement "experts say you're not getting enough of – and they all agree, it's the one pill worth swallowing."  Dr. Oz and other healthcare professionals explained why "this powerful antioxidant may hold the secret to protecting your heart, revving your energy production, and slowing the aging process" and reiterated that "it's being recognized all across the medical community, from traditional doctors to alternative health practitioners."

Ubiquinol is the pre-converted form of CoQ10, produced naturally by our bodies.  For individuals who are 40 years or older, taking CoQ10 in this form becomes even more beneficial since the body's ability to produce CoQ10 and convert it into Ubiquinol is diminished at this age.  Optimal Ubiquinol levels are important for anyone looking to support cardiovascular, neurological and liver health and promote anti-aging.

The Dr. Oz Show segment pointed out that Ubiquinol has ''been shown to lower blood pressure, help the good cholesterol, and help the complications from statins" – the cholesterol lowering drugs that are widely consumed by millions of Americans to combat high cholesterol.  The program also illustrated how difficult it is to obtain adequate amounts of Ubiquinol through a healthy diet a
