Das Deutsche Wissenschafts- und Innovationshaus (German Center for Research and Innovation - GCRI) in New York bietet Informationen und Unterstützung für gemeinsame Projekte und den Dialog zwischen Nordamerika und Deutschland. Ziel ist es, die Kommunikation hinsichtlich der wichtigsten Fragestellungen des 21. Jahrhunderts zu fördern. Dazu organisiert das GCRI eine Vielzahl an Veranstaltungen wie Lesungen und Ausstellungen, Workshops und sogenannte Science Dinners. Das im Februar 2010 eröffnete GCRI wurde als Eckpfeiler einer Initiative der deutschen Regierung zur Internationalisierung von Wissenschaft und Forschung gegründet und ist eines von weltweit fünf deutschen Wissenschafts- und Innovationshäusern. www.germaninnovation.org
