Health Partner Sauna & Generation Rescue Partner to Bring Awareness of Infrared Sauna Benefits to Autism
Date:10/29/2012

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PLH Products, Inc./Health Partner Saunas and Generation Rescue have partnered to bring awareness to the therapeutic benefits of infrared saunas to the autism community.

Studies have shown that sauna therapy is a valuable clinical tool for treating autoimmune, toxicant-induced and other chronic health problems. Far infrared sauna therapy offers a component of depuration and offers a variety of health benefits to regular users including the removal of toxins in the body leading to increased health and brain function. [2,3]

"Removing toxins from the body is especially beneficial to individuals with autism spectrum disorders. We are excited about our partnership with PLH/Health Partner to share with families the 1/2 size sauna that is a great fit for kids and can bring about health benefits to the entire family," says Candace McDonald, Executive Director of Generation Rescue.

Over 75% of respondents in a recent study on detoxification in naturopathic medicine, utilized detoxification therapies primarily to treat patients for general cleansing, preventive medicine, gastrointestinal disorders, and autoimmune disease. [1]

Generation Rescue is dedicated to identifying and sharing treatment options that address the underlying symptoms of autism. Upon meeting at the 2011 AutismOne/Generation Rescue Conference the two organizations were eager to work together to support the needs of the growing autism community.

"Health Partner Saunas are designed with detoxification in mind. Creating a safe and effective detoxification environment for anyone seeking to eliminate toxic substances from their body is the ultimate goal behind all of the company's saunas. To partner with an organization whose clients could benefit from our products is the perfect fit." – Kyung Park, President of PLH Products, Inc.
