Hardy Diagnostics Named in Inc. 5000

SANTA MARIA, Calif., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- /Hardy Diagnostics/ -- The popular business magazine, Inc., has named Hardy Diagnostics to be among the top growing companies during the preceding three quarters, in spite of the current crippling recession. The company is located in the Central Coast region of California and has been servicing laboratories, both clinical and industrial, for over 30 years.



Jay Hardy, the president, stated that the company's future continues to be bright due to the increasing need for rapid and reliable diagnostic tests in the health care field. The company currently has plans to expand its product line into the molecular biology research market. In addition, Hardy Diagnostics is entering new foreign markets as its efforts at exporting have been increased. The company began in 1980 by manufacturing culture media for the detection of bacteria and fungi in clinical laboratories. Since then, it has pursued many new markets in the bio-tech, food processing, pharmaceutical, beverage, and water testing industries. Six distribution centers are located throughout the nation in order to provide rapid deliveries of its products to its customers.
