Date:6/25/2013

bility1, range of motion2 and longevity3. Hal Sutton joins the likes of Fred Funk, becoming the second active Champions Tour golfer to collaborate with Stryker both on and off the golf course. In 2011, Funk became a spokesperson for the company after undergoing total knee replacement surgery with Stryker's GetAroundKnee in 2009.  Both Hal Sutton and Fred Funk will sport the official Stryker headwear during their events.

"Seeing Hal back out on TOUR with his Stryker hip is testament to the benefits of hip replacement," said Stuart Simpson, Vice President and General Manager Hip Reconstruction.  "We're happy to have him on board to share his personal story with patients around the country as we help educate them on how hip replacement can help get them back to the activities they love."

Throughout his golf career, Sutton has won 14 PGA Tour events, most notably the 1983 PGA Tour Championship, the 1983 Tournament Players Championship, the 1988 Tour Championship and the 2000 Players Championship.  Sutton began to play on the Champions Tour in 2012, and has since recorded one top 10 finish and six top 25 finishes.
