Hackensack University Medical Center Employs Built-To-Last Automated Storage by Talyst

BELLEVUE, Wash., May 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), a nationally recognized healthcare organization honored with being one of America's 50 Best Hospitals by HealthGrades®, announces the first implementation of AutoCarousel HD™ by Talyst. The secure automated storage provides the medical center with heavy-duty storage for all of its medications. The AutoCarousel HD, with its superior load balance, is built-to-last 10 plus years and has a back-up motor ensuring access to medications 24/7.

The medical center will also integrate AutoPharm, AutoPack, and AutoLabel in its central pharmacy to improve medication safety, increase inventory control and workflow efficiency.
