HASCO Medical Signs Agreement With the State of Alabama

MOBILE, Ala., Jan. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- HASCO Medical, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HASC), www.mysouthernmed.com, a managed healthcare provider that serves patients in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi, today announced that Southern Medical & Mobility (SMM), a wholly owned subsidiary of HASCO Medical, has signed an agreement with an entity of the State of Alabama.

Under terms of the agreement, SMM will be providing high-end rehabilitation chairs and medical equipment to pediatric patients throughout Southern Alabama.  The contract is expected to exceed several hundred thousand dollars and broaden the customer base for the entire SMM product line.

Mr. Hal Compton, Jr., SMM CEO, stated, "We were able to leverage our expertise in the medical mobility field to land a contract directly with the State of Alabama.  It is expected that as we deliver a world-class product and service, that we can expand across the entire state and then leverage our experience to neighboring states across the U.S.  We look forward to providing the State of Alabama with top-of-the-line service, especially to those pediatric patients in need."
