Guardsman Scientific Lead IP Council to Present at the American College of Cardiology National Meeting

SAN FRANCISCO, March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Wade Johnson , JD, Shareholder at Polsinelli Shughart PC and lead council for intellectual property matters for Guardsman Scientific is presenting today at the American College of Cardiology Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA.

A licensed engineer, patent lawyer and expert in medical technology patents, Mr. Johnson will discuss the importance of a carefully crafted intellectual property strategy as it relates to medical technologies. "The US healthcare system is facing significant challenges that can be overcome by developing and protecting new medical technologies, especially where such technologies relate to improving clinical outcomes and reducing costs", said Wade Johnson , JD.
