Grifols implementa il suo primo sistema a carosello per la gestione automatizzata dell'inventario dei farmaci sperimentali presso la Emory University

LOS ANGELES, 18 luglio 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Grifols, società mondiale del settore sanitario con sede a Barcellona, Spagna, che vanta oltre 15 anni di innovazione ed esperienza nel settore delle soluzioni automatizzate per la conservazione e la distribuzione dei farmaci nelle farmacie ospedaliere europee, ha ora implementato negli Stati Uniti il suo primo nastro trasportatore per la gestione automatizzata dell'inventario.

L'attività della Divisione Ospedaliera di Grifols è focalizzata su soluzioni tecnologiche per il mercato della farmacia ospedaliera. Grifols ha implementato presso l'Emory University Investigational Drug Service un nastro trasportatore SencorpWhite per la gestione automatizzata dell'inventario; il sistema è gestito dal software Genesis Investigational Drug Service (IDS). Il software Genesis IDS consente di conservare i farmaci, controllare l'inventario e tracciare le transazioni in modo efficiente. 

Susan Rogers, RPh, Emory University Investigational Drug Service, ha così commentato l'impatto  della macchina: "Il sistema a carosello ha consentito notevoli risparmi in termini di spazio e di tempo.  L'inventario è organizzato meglio, e con il software Genesis IDS è possibile conoscere l'esatta posizione dei farmaci.
