Greenway Selected by Health Information Exchanges and Regional Physician Groups

"Medical Society members, our regional centers and all of our practicing physicians know that with our proportion of Medicare-eligible patients seeing multiple doctors, it's important to coordinate care plans and share information," added Willis. The Central Jersey Health Information Exchange Project (CJHIEP), a physician-led HIE, selected PrimeSuite as a preferred EHR for its private physicians practicing in Middlesex County, N.J.

"The CJHIEP group reviewed more than 20 products in depth, and we believe our selections have uniquely desirable strengths and offer value in usability and affordability, and we are recommending to our members the use of a remote hosting model," said CJHIEP Co-managing Director and board member Andrew B. Covit, MD.

The Central Jersey HIE's deployment goals include connecting physician offices with regional hospitals, labs, radiology clinics and other healthcare facilities; pursuing group purchasing to establish a sustainable HIE; and generating data that improves the quality and efficiency of patient care.

The 1200-member Highlands Physicians, Inc. IPA of Kingsport, Tenn. has endorsed PrimeSuite to its practicing physicians throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

"We analyzed a dozen EHRs with a team of clinicians and IT staff and found that the Greenway EHR had a high level of certification and KLAS scores, and was designed to cover the full spectrum," said Highlands Executive Director Brant Kelch. "We have a mix of about 60 percent specialty and 40 percent primary care practices."
