Gezonde vrijwilligers van Japanse komaf gezocht voor deelname aan Fase I klinisch onderzoek

BRUSSEL, 31 juli 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- De Pfizer Clinical Research Unit (PCRU) heeft de lancering aangekondigd van een rekruteringscampagne voor gezonde vrijwilligers van Japanse komaf voor medewerking aan klinisch onderzoek. De in Brussel gevestigde PCRU is één van twee onderzoekseenheden van Pfizer, een multinationaal farmaceutisch bedrijf met als ideaal levens te verbeteren door de ontdekking en ontwikkeling van nieuwe medicijnen. Om onderzoeksprojecten te ondersteunen, is de PCRU op zoek naar mannen en vrouwen van Japanse komaf – leeftijd 18 tot 55 – om als vrijwilliger deel uit te maken van hun gegevensbank voor klinische studies. Leden van de gegevensbank worden op de hoogte gebracht van openstaande klinische studies. Wanneer zij ervoor kiezen aan een onderzoek deel te nemen, zullen ze een vergoeding ontvangen voor hun tijd. Ze kunnen ook in aanmerking komen voor een redelijke reisonkostenvergoeding. Klinische onderzoeken gebeuren in verschillende fasen. Iedere fase heeft een ander doel. Fase-I studies, die in de PCRU plaatsvinden, worden uitgevoerd bij gezonde vrijwilligers om de veiligheid, dosering en bijwerkingen te kunnen beoordelen bij een experimenteel medicijn of een experimentele therapi
