GSW Launches Multi-Channel Detailing Platform and Expands Closed-Loop Marketing Suite

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- GSW, an inVentiv Health company and leading healthcare communications agency, today released iQ.mercury 3, a significant advance in pharmaceutical detailing that is optimized both for Apple and Windows tablets. iQ.mercury 3 is a sales-effectiveness and detailing tool that allows pharmaceutical representatives to deliver presentations across multiple communication channels, all from their iPad or Windows 8 compatible tablet.

iQ.mercury 3.0 is designed to extend the reach of sales and marketing messages by allowing sales reps to engage health care professionals (HCPs) with interactive marketing content in person, remotely via the Internet, or online through self-guided online software components known as modules.  Now brands can develop multimedia presentations that can be used across multiple channels to communicate with physicians, making sales reps more productive and flexible in a fast-changing pharmaceutical marketplace.

"Sales representatives today have greater responsibility, carrying multiple brands and covering larger territories. These changes are making it difficult for them to reach a large number of physicians on a daily basis," said Joe Daley, president of GSW. "iQ.mercury 3 helps answer the need for greater efficiency and flexible tools."

Sales reps today must be ready to engage with physicians who are more digitally savvy and seek information on their own terms. They must be ready to respond to requests for information where and when the doctor prefers. "iQ.mercury 3 gives pharmaceutical sales reps and brand managers a single platform to deliver engaging information and meet the physicians wherever they are," Daley said.

Data can be delivered on the effectiveness and usage of the detail regardless of the channel in which it was delivered.

In addition to the new iQ.mercury 3 platform, GSW already offers two closed-loop marketing (CLM) applications for marketers who want to manage and evaluate campaign feedback as they communicate with the marketplace.

iQ.align is an easy-to-use analytics dashboard and cloud-based survey planner that gives brand managers a communications platform with real-time feedback from their sales organization. Used by many top pharmaceutical brands, iQ.align collects important data from iQ.mercury and delivers metrics to an easy-to-use dashboard for gathering insights from the field. It is compatible with many customer relationship management platforms, offering flexibility to clients looking for CLM solutions.

iQ.fileShare software gives brand managers the ability to send approved emails to physicians with the latest informational content about their brands.  From their iPads, sales reps can sync the latest versions of approved content and share supported resources with their contacts.  Brand managers can easily manage rep groups and resource files from a single cloud-based content management system.

Because the products are modular, clients have the option to purchase iQ.align, iQ.fileShare, and iQ.mercury components separately or together as a bundled CLM solution.

Beginning in December, GSW will host a series of training workshops and webinars for healthcare brands wishing to upgrade to the new platform.  For more information about iQ.mercury and closed-loop marketing applications, contact marketing manager Tyler Durbin at or go to and register to receive information on products, exclusive deals and promotions.
