Featured Speakers Announced for 5th Annual Pharmacy Benefits Academy, August 24-25 in Chicago

CHICAGO, Aug. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Midwest Business Group on Health in collaboration with Pharmacy Outcomes Specialists announced the keynote speakers and agenda for the fifth annual Pharmacy Benefits Academy (PBA) to be held August 24-25 at the InterContinental Chicago O'Hare. The program provides human resource, benefits and managed care professionals, union trustees and other health care stakeholders, with the information and tools needed to better manage pharmacy costs and related benefits, and improve the health outcomes of their covered populations using these benefits.

"In light of the rising costs associated with specialty pharmacy, it's more important than ever for employers to focus on effectively managing their pharmacy benefits," said Cheryl Larson, MBGH vice president.
