FUJIFILM Europe Teams Synapse with Matrox Xenia

MONTREAL and DUSSELDORF, Germany, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of specialized graphics solutions, is pleased to announce that FUJIFILM Europe GmbH is now shipping the Matrox Xenia(TM) Series display controller boards in several of their PACS and Mammography solutions using Fujifilm Synapse.

Fujifilm is one of the leading suppliers in computer based radiography, offering the world's first internet-based PACS (SYNAPSE) and innovative solutions in image-aided diagnostics, medical information processing and clinical dry chemistry. After acquisition of drug maker Toyama, Fujifilm is on the way to become a healthcare company with the scope to include prevention, diagnostics and treatment.

"Three-monitor support with a single board means no need to handle two video boards with two drivers (which could be error-prone), resulting in easier and faster installation.
