SILVER SPRING, Md., Jan. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- FDA has taken new steps to cut the risk of severe liver injury associated with use of the pain- and fever reducing drug acetaminophen.
These steps include asking makers of prescription products that contain acetaminophen to limit how much of it is placed in each tablet or capsule.
