"Estamos muy contentos de que el Departamento de Salud del Reino Unido haya reconocido la importancia de la vacuna contra el herpes zoster y esperamos conseguir más asociaciones en Europa para la inmunización con este producto verdaderamente innovador."

Zostavax se ha utilizado en Estados Unidos desde 2006 y en Canadá desde 2009 y se han distribuido más de 11 millones de dosis de la vacuna desde su lanzamiento.
