EffectiveUI Showcases Patient-Centric User Experience at Forrester Forum

DENVER, June 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EffectiveUI, a leading user experience (UX) agency, is a Gold sponsor at the upcoming Forrester Customer Experience Forum, being held in New York City at the Marriott Marquis this week on June 26-27.  Hosted by Forrester Research, a Cambridge, MA-based market research firm, the "Outside In: The Power Of Putting Customers At The Center Of Your Business" forum brings together C-level executives in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) companies with Forrester's top market analysts and leading customer experience (CX) thought leaders.

EffectiveUI's Executive Director of Experience Design and Customer Insight, Peyton Lindley, and Matt Eaves, Director, Engagement, for Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), will present their best practices on patient-centric user experience at a Guest Executive Forum on Wednesday, June 27, at 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EDT.  CTCA is a network of fully accredited cancer hospitals, offering advanced technologies and a personalized treatment approach. The two will discuss applying a user-centered design approach to better engage prospective patients, articulate key differentiators and bring the CTCA hospital experience to life.

"Learning you have cancer and making a decision about where to get treatment is a very difficult experience," said Matt Eaves, director, Engagement, CTCA. "Cancer patients need to be empowered with information and choices. Many of our patients travel to us so we created an online experience to give people a better sense of what we offer, how we deliver care and what it is like to be treated in one of our hospitals, before they ever step foot inside a facility."
