ESPN Chief Medical Correspondent Joins Orthopaedic Industry Leaders at OrthoTec 2013

The OrthoTec 2013 Conference and Exhibition, on June 5 - 6, announces this year's agenda featuring thought-leaders and experts from major areas of orthopaedic technology. The event is the annual industry gathering for orthopaedic technologists and business leaders at the "Orthopaedic Capital of the World" - Warsaw, Indiana.

At OrthoTec 2013, ESPN Chief Medical Correspondent Michael J. Kaplan, MD will give a keynote speech on orthopaedic technologies from the perspective of an orthopaedic surgeon and a medical analyst for ESPN. "We're seeing a lot of exciting innovations in orthopaedic technology that will change the landscape of sports medicine," said Dr. Kaplan, "I look forward to meeting manufacturers of orthopaedic devices in Warsaw and sharing my perspective on orthopaedic product design from my own experience and observation of the industry." Dr. Kaplan's speech will highlight what device manufacturers can do to better meet clinical needs in orthopaedics.

In addition, OrthoTec 2013 will feature former TED conference speaker, Kevin Stone , MD from the Stone Clinic. Dr. Stone co-founded ReGen Biologics and is the founder and chairman of Joint Juice, Inc., the maker of the first nutraceutical beverage that provides a full day's supply of glucosamine. His keynote speech at OrthoTec 2013 focuses on the future of orthopaedic technologies, especially in joint replacement.
