EDI Health Group Partners With Orthoease to Incorporate Claims Processing Into Company's Robust Practice Management Software
Date:11/4/2009

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- EDI Health Group, Inc., (EHG), a provider of enhanced connectivity, streamlined technology and transaction solutions for patients, payers and providers in the dental industry, today announced its full service clearinghouse has been selected by Orthoease, Inc., to provide a single-source solution for EDI transactions between the company and its providers and payers.

Orthoease Practice Management Software is an intuitive, full-featured program designed to meet the needs of orthodontic practices. The robust solution provides orthodontists with at-a-glance patient information, treatment plans, status screens, image management, and electronic charting. In addition, the software provides account management and ledger functionality and statement processing as well as displaying patient flow and appointment booking capabilities. The incorporation of EHG's clearinghouse services into Orthoease will add the ability for practices to electronically manage the entire insurance claims process in near real-time.

"We are constantly looking to incorporate practical technologies into Orthoease to make our clients more efficient and productive," explained Nick Meecham, Director of Technology at Orthoease. "We wanted to provide our client base with a simple and affordable solution for insurance claims processing that was also technologically advanced and fully capable of meeting the demands of today's orthodontic practices. After looking at a number of companies, we decided to partner with DentalXChange due to the superior technology and design of their solution and the company's unmatched commitment to providing great customer service. Since the very beginning, our philosophy has been simple: develop the products and solutions that are easy to use and provide our clients with the best service possible. In DentalXChange we found a partner that shares our philosophy."

"DentalXChange is pleased to have been selected as the integrated clearinghouse solution for the Orthoease product," stated Le Ann Eyers, Director of Payer and Partner Relations at DentalXChange.

"Orthoease was referred to DentalXChange after being disappointed with other options and we are excited to have successfully implement an EDI solution for them within 60 days."
